Item Conditions & Sales Channels
4More is a Canadian liquidation and resale ecosystem designed to match products with the right buyers based on condition, completeness, and buyer intent. This page explains how item conditions are defined, how inspections are documented, and how inventory is distributed across the 4More ecosystem, including Pay4More, Bin4More, Bid4More, and Fix4More.
To understand how inventory moves through Pay4More, Bin4More, Bid4More, and Fix4More, read How the 4More Ecosystem Works.
Inspection Overview
All items sold through the 4More ecosystem are evaluated using a structured inspection process. Condition details are based on visible assessment, functional checks where applicable, and review of packaging and included components.
Condition descriptions are always supported by product photos. When necessary, additional inspection photos are provided to highlight specific defects, wear, or missing components.
Condition Categories
Sealed
Brand-new items in sealed, unopened packaging. No prior use. Packaging is intact as received from the supplier.
New
New, unused items that may not be sealed. Packaging may be opened or replaced, but the item itself shows no signs of use.
Used Like New (ULN)
Items that appear almost new with minimal to no visible signs of use. Any minor cosmetic marks are disclosed in photos if present.
Dents & Scratches
Items with visible cosmetic damage such as dents, scratches, or surface marks. These do not necessarily affect functionality unless otherwise stated.
Used
Items that show clear signs of prior use. Cosmetic wear is visible and documented in photos.
Partial
Items that are incomplete or missing non-essential components. The level of completeness is disclosed, and photos clearly show what is included.
Salvage
Items that are damaged, non-functional, or intended only for parts or repair. These items are sold with full disclosure and are suitable for experienced buyers.
Functionality & Completeness
Functionality
Items may be listed as fully functional, partially functional, non-functional, or requiring testing, depending on the category and inspection scope.
Completeness
Completeness indicates whether all parts and accessories are present. Items may be missing non-essential accessories, essential components, or include replacement parts.
These details are disclosed on product listings and supported by images where applicable.
Photos & Inspection Documentation
Each product listing includes photos showing the exact item being sold. Standard product images show the overall condition and included items. When defects, wear, or missing components are present, additional inspection photos are provided to clearly document those details.
Customers should always refer to the images to understand what is included and the current condition of the item.
